• Detach the top blade by releasing the screws the hold it in place. Clean the dirt and hairs from the blade with a cleaning brush and wipe it with a cloth.
• Make use of a sharpening stone to hone the blades; you can do this in the same way as you sharpen a knife. Just rub the edge of the blade in a single path against the stone. The blade will get sharp with few swipes.
• If there are any rusts on the blade, remove it with a cotton ball soaked in alcohol. Keep rubbing with the cotton ball till the rust is eliminated completely.
• Replace the blade on the trimmer and fasten the screws.
• Wipe the outer areas of the blade assembly using alcohol so that any residual dirt can be cleaned.
